About the project
The mural we painted for the 2022 Up Here festival in Sudbury, Ontario. This piece is titled “ Moose and Bear”. The theme for the festival was Time so we created a piece representing life’s journey. The moose is painted as a symbol of sustenance because it provides food and clothing. The black bear is the guide to the spirit world so this painting is included to represent the end of this life’s journey and the beginning of the next.
